Dr. Houshang is a Principal Geophysicist with over 30 years of international experience in the exploration industry, specializing in seismic data acquisition, processing, interpretation, and advanced reservoir geophysics.
His technical expertise includes quantitative interpretation, seismic petrophysics, rock physics, conventional P-wave seismic, multicomponent seismic, 4D time-lapse seismic, seismic inversion, seismic attenuation, velocity anisotropy, reservoir characterization, and Field Development Plans across diverse geological settings worldwide.
He holds a PhD in Reservoir Geophysics, an MSc in Geophysics, and a BSc in Mining Exploration Engineering. In addition to his industry experience, Houshang has also contributed extensively to teaching, research, and technical capacity development.
Through Est-Starexa Resources, Limited, Houshang provides highlevel geophysical advisory, seismic interpretation, reservoir characterization, exploration evaluation, and technical support for oil and gas, mining, and subsurface development projects.
